Letting Go and Healing: Honor in Presence
Target Audience
Health providers, recovery support providers, caregivers, and families seeking guidance and support through the emotionally complex journey of end-of-life care and healing.

Webinar Overview
End-of-life care is one of the most tender and profound stages of the human experience. Yet, within our fast-paced and often death-avoidant culture, it’s also one of the least discussed. For providers, caregivers, and families, navigating the emotional, spiritual, and relational dynamics of this transition can be overwhelming — filled with layers of loss, love, and legacy.
This webinar, Letting Go and Healing: Honor in Presence, provides a deeply compassionate lens on end-of-life transitions. Dr. Kris Ericson draws on her extensive professional and personal experience to guide participants through the interconnected roles of caregiver, clinician, and companion in the dying process.
Rather than focusing solely on clinical interventions, this session centers on the significance of being present — listening, honoring, and holding space. Attendees will explore cultural considerations, the spiritual role of mourning and joy, and the transformative impact of shared human connection in caregiving. The conversation extends into the post-death experience, when healing and dignity must continue for both families and those who supported the dying individual.
Webinar Objectives
Problem Addressed
American society often avoids discussions around death, pushing past grief with platitudes instead of presence. This disservice not only hampers healing but isolates those who gave their love and labor in care. This webinar changes that by affirming the importance of every individual in the caregiving circle, creating a space where presence, honor, and healing lead the way.
